Amazon: Fall Favorites & Halloween web and mobile asset production (art direction, product photography, production design)
Situation: On my first day at a new agency, I was asked to fly to Spokane, WA, to help lead a small team in producing web and mobile assets for Amazon's Fall Favorites and Halloween graphics. We faced the challenge of an extremely short turnaround time to complete the project.
Task: My responsibilities included art direction, product photography, and production design. We needed to sort through hundreds of Amazon packages, shoot numerous product shots, and ensure high-quality asset production, all within a tight deadline.
Action: Over the course of three intense days, our team meticulously organized and sorted through the products. We conducted countless product shoots, maintaining a high standard of quality despite the time constraints. After completing the shoots, I immediately flew back to begin post-production and asset creation. Throughout the process, we navigated 16+ hour days, constant scope changes, and a tight timeline, ensuring that every detail was handled with precision and creativity.
Result: Despite the absolute whirlwind nature of the project, we successfully delivered all required assets on time. The high-quality graphics produced for Amazon's Fall Favorites and Halloween promotions were well-received, contributing to a visually appealing and engaging online presence for Amazon during the fall season. The project's success highlighted our team's ability to manage tight deadlines and produce exceptional work under pressure.
